These 2 wishes come from my friend Kelly Wilson. The Wilson family is from Atlantic Beach, FL. She's a member of the LBRTB and the August DTC group. The LBRTB group is unique, because I can share my faith there. We pray for each other and aren't afraid to talk about God.
Kelly didn't know how much of a TIGGER fan I am!!!! What a coincidence. Thank you Kelly!

The Wells family is from West Chester, OH. Kim is the moderator or co-moderator on the August and September groups, as well as involved with my two quilt groups (OHGWQ and quilt-exchange). Needless to say, Kim has become someone I can talk to.........her 1st little girl cracks me up when I talk to Kim on the phone. It makes me long for times like that with Hannah!!! Thanks Kim!!! I really love the details in her squares. She adds so much to the group anyway, and now she adds even more to my sqwishes!!!!

There are a lot of friends that I've made in my yahoo groups, but none as close as the LBRTB group. Jessica is one of the moderators in the group and has one of the most awesome stories to tell her daughter about waiting for her. Jessica has been waiting (knowing which child her daughter is) for a VERY LONG time, but she still has the faith that can move mountains!!! The Smith family lives in Lanesville, IN. Hannah's One Hundred Good Wishes Quilt

This comes from a Chinese tradition in which the family and friends of the expectant parent would gather pieces of fabric together to create a new quilt for the new baby. With each piece of fabric given, there is also a wish given so that the baby will know how much it is loved.

The fabric can be the choice of the giver, but it needs to be 100% cotton and washed before cutting (to eliminate shrinkage once it's in the quilt).

Hannah would love to have wishes from family and friends. These wishes also have a small piece of the fabric attached to them, so that she can identify which family gave her each piece.

If you would like to contribute to this project of love please do.

The square should be 8 in. X 8 in........... The wish can be whatever you choose. Some are blessings, prayers, scriptures, and others are poems or quotes. All are a gift of love!
